How to Measure

  

 

 

To determine your size follow these simple instructions (DO NOT measure yourself):
  • A - Bust: Measure over the fullest part of your bust.

  • B - Waist: Measure around your natural waistline 1-2 inches ABOVE your belly button...which is the SMALLEST point on your waistline; keep the measuring tape snug but not tight.

  • C - Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, 8" below your waist (Petites, 7").

  • Other things you should know...
  • All of these dresses are designed to fit those that are up to 5'8" while wearing 3" heels. If you are 5'9" or 5'10", you may need to go with a smaller heel shoe; 5'11" will probably need either a flat shoe, or order an EXTRA LENGTH dress. Vendors that offer "Tall" and "Extra Length" dresses have a note in the Policies section at the top of their pages.
  • Nearly 99% of our customers need some type of alterations.
  • Any gown that is TOO LONG may EASILY be hemmed by your local seamstress.
  • Straps may need to be adjusted, or the dress might need to be hemmed. Often with those that are "busty", there is a need to remove the cups that are already included in the gown to allow for the bust to be correct.
Sizing Example:
Lets say your measurements are...
Bust: 32
Waist: 25.5
Hips: 36.5
- Gowns are made to the measurements in the size chart. You need to pick the largest size for the largest of your three measurements. - Always round your measurements up! If your waist measurement is 25.5, a gown with a 25 inch waist will be half an inch small, and may not zip.
Based on the measurements above, size 8 would be the correct size.
 

 

 

1. DRESS LENGTH
Measure from shoulder point at neck over fullest part of the chest, to hemline.

2. CHEST/BUST
Measure around fullest part of the chest, keeping tape straight, just under the arm and around the shoulder blades.

3. WAIST
Measure around the natural waistline.

4. SLEEVE LENGTH
Measure from shoulder bone to hemline of sleeve.

      5.  Hollow to Hem

Measure from the Hollow in the front of your neck to where you want the Hem to Come
